About RTS
Introduction
The Rapti Technical School (R.T.S) established in 2050 BS is a constituent school of CTEVT committed to producing a competent mid-level workforce in the agriculture, health, and construction sectors. It is also actively involved in the production of a basic-level workforce in the hospitality, tailoring, and beautician sectors.
The institution boasts an outstanding school management committee consisting of 9 members, including a chairperson governed by the Chief District Officer. Its primary target is to produce 1,000 highly qualified mid-level professionals annually.

We envision a future where marginalized and underprivileged communities are uplifted through equitable access to practical, industry-standard skills, ultimately contributing to the sustainable socioeconomic development of the nation.
Mission
Rapti Technical School is a vibrant organization dedicated to promoting the TVET system to develop a competent workforce that meets both national and international market needs. Our mission is to bridge the gap between unemployment and industry demands by offering inclusive, high-quality technical education. We strive to create an engaging learning environment that fosters innovation, practical problem-solving, and lifelong learning for all our students.
Goals
To achieve our mission and vision, RTS focuses on the following primary goals:
- Expand TVET programs to ensure broader access and social equity for diverse communities.
- Ensure a high-quality, relevant, and efficient Technical and Vocational Education system.
- Enhance the effectiveness, transparency, and efficiency of the school’s management and administration.
- Strengthen industry-institute linkages to guarantee higher employability for graduates.
- Promote entrepreneurship and self-employment capabilities among trainees.
Major Responsibilities
- Conduct TVET programs ranging from short-term basic level training to multi-year diploma levels.
- Ensure strict quality control and proper delivery of CTEVT’s competency-based curriculum.
- Provide technical advice and maintain coordination with local government agencies regarding TVET policies.
- Facilitate the testing and certification of skills for individuals in the local community.
- Liaise with national and international development agencies to improve infrastructure and educational quality.
Objectives
- Produce at least 1,000 skilled mid-level and basic-level professionals every academic year.
- Maintain an employment or self-employment rate of 80% or higher for all passed-out graduates.
- Increase the participation of women, Dalits, and marginalized groups in technical fields by offering targeted scholarships and counseling.
- Upgrade workshops, laboratories, and farm facilities to meet international technical training standards.
